Human-reviewed AI

AI that proposes; people that decide.

We believe AI has a real role in compliance work — but only where a human remains accountable for the final call. Every AI suggestion in ChronoVault lives in a review queue before it touches your record. You can see exactly what the AI proposed, when, and on what basis. You can accept, edit, or reject with a reason — and rejections feed back into quality monitoring.

1. What the AI does

Reads long regulator documents and drafts structured requirements. Suggests mappings between controls and requirements. Classifies evidence. Flags drift when a control's implementation diverges from its design. Summarizes changes in plain language with the original text one click away.

2. What it never does

No AI contribution enters your canonical record or your posture calculation without a named human approving it. AI does not modify controls, close findings, or score risks on its own. If the AI is ever wrong, the record of the human approval is there to tell you who caught — or missed — the error.

3. How approval works

AI outputs land in a review queue scoped to the user role that should review them. A compliance manager walks the draft, edits what needs editing, and either promotes or rejects it. Rejections capture a reason, which feeds back into quality monitoring and into our governance reporting.

4. How to audit an AI contribution

Every AI output is attributed to the run that produced it and every change carries the human approver's identity. When an auditor asks whether AI affected a specific control, the honest answer is in the audit trail — exactly which AI output, reviewed by whom, and when.
