A control in ChronoVault is more than a row in a spreadsheet. Key workflows

1. Design

Describe what the control is supposed to do and which requirements it satisfies. The design layer is the anchor against which everything else is measured — drift detection compares implementation against it.

2. Implement

Capture who owns the control, which system enforces it, and where it lives in your operational stack. Link the implementation to its design layer so changes are visible when they happen.

3. Test

Run periodic tests manually or through a scheduled workflow. Results feed directly into posture. Test plans live with the control, not in a separate document nobody updates.

4. Monitor

Attach continuous monitoring signals and alerts so the control's state is always current, not just fresh at audit time.

5. Map

Use the visual mapping studio to see how one control covers requirements across multiple frameworks — and where your coverage has holes.
