Auditor experience

Your auditor is a user, not a recipient.

ChronoVault treats external auditors as first-class users. They get their own scoped view of your tenant, the same data your team sees, and workflows designed for their job — sampling, walking evidence, recording findings — not a rebuilt-from-scratch PDF handover.

1. Auditor view

A scoped interface that shows only the frameworks, controls, and time window the engagement covers. External auditors log in as their own identity, not as a shared account, and every action they take is captured in the audit trail.

2. Access scoping

The client controls what the auditor sees. Scope can be widened or narrowed mid-engagement if the engagement letter changes. Revoking access is one click; the audit trail preserves what they saw while they were in the system.

3. Walkthrough of a typical engagement

Kickoff: the auditor is invited to a scoped view of the tenant. Planning: they select samples from the evidence stream. Fieldwork: they walk evidence, note observations, and record draft findings. Reporting: findings are finalized, linked to controls, and tracked through remediation — in the same system.

4. What auditors have told us

The feedback we get from auditors most often is: "I spent the engagement reviewing data instead of chasing it." That is the success condition for this feature.
